At St John the Baptist we are very proud of the way our Year 6 Buddies support their Kindergarten friends.

During Book Week we took the opportunity to celebrate our special relationship.

We planned a morning of Craft activities that related to BookWeek. We also had the short listed picture books in the class room. Using the Better Buddies bookmarks and stickers as motivation the Year 6 buddies read to their Kindergarten buddies and tried to fill their Bookmarks.

Our planned morning of fun activities had to be extended to the afternoon as we had not finished our activities by Morning Tea.

We all had so much fun and lots of Mums and Dads came in the next day to tell us how much their children had enjoyed the day.

Thankyou Better Buddies for the Bookmarks, stickers and certificates. Our children thoroughly enjoyed their day.
