Better Buddies - Buddies for Wildlife

Buddies for Wildlife is a unit of work designed to compliment the Better Buddies Framework by supporting one of the Better Buddies Key Events: Better Buddies Book Week.  It is an initiative to create lasting bonds between children and our native Australian wildlife and highlight the work of wildlife shelters.  As with the Framework, the ideas and suggestions within this unit are meant to be flexible for Better Buddies teachers to mould to their situation and school environment.  Each section of the resource has links to lesson plans, activities, storyboards, conversation cards, videos and more.  We have also developed some activities specifically for use with Interactive Whiteboards.
