What is Better Buddies?

Better Buddies is for teachers to help create friendly and caring schools. Buddies in schools are children in their first and last year of primary school.  

The Better Buddies values are caring for others, friendliness, respect, valuing difference, including others and responsibility.

Better Buddies has a mascot named Buddy Bear.  He is a fun-loving and caring purple bear who helps children feel safe and cared for when they first go to school.
